PROFILELantis was formed to commercialize the application of novel technologies in the dental industry. The OCT System product meets all these criteria and is expected to have a major impact on dentistry while being lucrative for investors. The Company plans to launch its exclusive OCT Dental Imaging System(TM) in the third quarter of 2008 as its first product. Lantis has exclusive rights to the application of OCT technology in the field of dentistry under its license Agreements with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and LightLab Imaging. OCT was invented in the early 1990's at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is currently being commercialized by Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc. in ophthalmology and by LightLab Imaging for cardiovascular imaging. Application research is ongoing in many bio-medical areas including cancer detection. GROWTH STRATEGYOCT Dental Imaging System(TM) Development Phase 3 will focus on finalizing the pre-production System specification, including final industrial design. The System will be sold in two configurations: firstly in a cart as a stand-alone System and at a later stage as a system for integration with other digital modalities such as dental x-ray. FDA 510(k) clearance will be applied for in this Phase and this is typically obtained with a 90-day pre-market notification. Market Potential MANAGEMENTManagement has extensive experience in the dental industry, imaging technology development, marketing and distribution, and clinical and research dentistry. Their combined experience will assure that products are optimally developed in a timely manner and positioned correctly in the market place. Stan Baron (Chairman, President and CEO) has almost 40 years international business experience including over 25 years in the dental industry. He has founded and grown a number of companies in this time. He has a unique ability to understand and identify the needs of dentistry; to search out and secure licenses for technologies that meet these needs; and to put together the resources to commercialize novel technologies. Craig Gimbel, D.D.S. (Co-Founder and Executive Vice-President of Clinical Affairs) is a recognized authority in laser/photonics and other high technology. He is the 2003 recipient of the prestigious T.H. Maiman Award for excellence in dental laser research and President of the Academy of Laser Dentistry for 2007. His experience as a Principal Investigator for the Erbium:YAG laser and other technologies for dentistry is invaluable for the clinical development of the Company's products. Dr. Gimbel is the author of many publications and has lectured worldwide on the integration of dental technology. He has been featured in the media, including Dateline NBC, for his expertise in dental technology. His "hands-on" clinical experience and recognition in the dental profession is an asset to the company. Doug Hamilton (Vice-President of Research & Development) has extensive experience in the development of imaging system products. As former President and Director of Operations of Aries International Inc., he is "solutions oriented" with invaluable experience in "hands on" project team management including systems development and integration of advanced optical, digital and radiographic imaging products. He has successfully developed over 14 hardware and software products for industrial and medical markets with his specialty being image acquisition, processing, 3D manipulation and storage. A large part of his experience has been in the NDE industry where his experience also includes business development and contract negotiations for systems designs. Among his major clients were Dupont, Siemens, TVA, D.O.E., Duke University, and the National Institute of Health. Linda Otis, D.D.S. (Vice-President of Clinical Research) is an authority on OCT, having initiated the first research on its application in dentistry with the Medical Technology Program at Lawrence Livermore in 1994. As a radiologist, she has held teaching positions at Universities and undertaken research at many levels. Currently she is a Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences and Pathology at the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and continues to research the applications of OCT in dentistry. She lectures nationally, has published widely, and is named on three OCT patents. Dr. Otis was awarded the prestigious T. H.
