The Ice Cold Stocks Financial Toolbar HELP Section
This page will explain the various functions of your new Ice Cold Stocks Free Financial Toolbar.
Please review it so you can take full advantage of its features.
TOOLBAR OPTIONS
If you click on the small, black Down Arrow, a drop-down menu will appear. You will see five (5) options. The options are:
Home: Clicking on "Home" will take you to the Ice Cold Stocks Home page.
Toolbar Options: This link allows you customize your toolbar. From here, you can remove or add feature that your toolbar displays. For example, if you are not interested in the Spanish version of the Ice Man's commentary, you can un-check the Show "Ice Man [Spanish]" menu item option. Note that, due to technical considerations, the Search Drop-down and Streaming News features cannot be hidden.
Contact Us: Takes you to the ICS Contact page. Email, phone, fax, or send us mail.
Toolbar Help: Takes you to this page.
Uninstall: Click this option to uninstall this toolbar.
Note: Clicking the blue "ICS" logo takes you to the Ice Cold Stocks Home page.
SEARCH
The Search feature allows you to search for information using Google, Yahoo, or the Ice Cold Stocks Search Engine. Click the small, black Down Arrow and choose your search engine. Then type your search phrase in the blank window to the left. When done, hit Enter.
COMMENTATORS
The Commentators button turns red when a new podcast (audio commentary) has been made. If you click the button, a drop-down menu will appear. You will see the list of Commentators. The Commentator(s) that has recorded a new update will have a red dot beside before his name. Click the dot and you will be connected to the recording.
Note that if you are not interested in certain Commentators, you can remove them from the toolbar by un-checking them in the Toolbar Options Section.
STREAMING FINANCIAL NEWS
The Ice Cold Stocks Toolbar provides pertinent streaming financial news from around the world. To read the details of a certain headline, simply click on that headline.
If you click on the small, black Down Arrow, a drop-down menu will appear with the following options:
Scroll Speed: How fast do you want the news to scroll? Choices are Slow, Medium, or Fast.
Ticker Size: How wide do you want the ticker window to be? Choices are Small, Medium, or Big.
Show All RSS News: Opens a browser window with a list of Top Stories.
POP UP BLOCKER
By default, the Pop-up Blocker is turned off. To enable it, click the button. "On:0" should appear, meaning pop-ups are blocked. If you click on the small, black Down Arrow, you will have two options:
White List: Here, you can add the address of a website. This will "White List" the site, and the toolbar will allow pop-ups from that site.
Reset Pop-up Counter: The toolbar keeps track of how many pop-ups it has blocked. To reset the number to zero, click the "Reset Pop-up Counter" option.
SPECIAL MESSAGE SCROLLER
This window displays special messages from Ice Cold Stocks or affiliates.
ADD FUNCTIONS
This feature allows you to add functions to your toolbar. You have a choice to add:
Website Hotkeys: one-click access to any website you choose, and
Quick-Launch: Open any program on your computer (Word, Excel, etc.) with one click. Detailed Help on this feature is available when you click on the "Add Functions..." button, which is accessible by clicking the small, black Down Arrow to the right of icon.
TOOLBAR MANAGEMENT
When clicked, this option shows you which toolbars are installed on your computer. If you select a toolbar, you then have the option of hiding it or removing it. If you select "Hide," the toolbar will not be seen but will still remain on your computer. If you select "Remove," it will delete that toolbar from your computer. Only choose "Remove" if you are sure that you do not want to use the selected toolbar again.
Note: to remove the ICS Financial Toolbar, use the "Uninstall" feature in the Toolbar Options Section.
